Students and trainers

If you are a student or a trainer, contact your training organisation first. It manages your account and your record.

The XPortal plugin for ChatGPT

The plugin lets admissions staff lodge a student application from ChatGPT.

  • Who can use it: staff of an organisation that uses XPortal, with a role that can create applications. Student and trainer accounts cannot connect.
  • To connect: add XPortal in ChatGPT, sign in to XPortal when asked, and approve the connection. You sign in with your authenticator as usual.
  • What it does: lists your programs, campuses and payment plans, previews enrolment dates, saves an application as a draft, shows a review, and submits after you confirm.
  • What it does not do: look up students or finances, upload documents, verify a USI, generate offer letters or delete anything. Do those in XPortal.
  • To disconnect: open ChatGPT’s settings, find XPortal among your connected plugins and disconnect it. To have the connection revoked in XPortal as well, email us.
  • If ChatGPT cannot reach XPortal or asks you to reconnect, connect again. Your saved drafts stay in XPortal.
